Let the Games Begin
It's time for an update. Bunches of stuff has been going on since my last update.
I have accepted an offer on my house. The inspection is scheduled for Wednesday and unless they find something majorly wrong with the house, the buyers can't back out of the deal and I don't have to make any repairs. Once that has been completed, they have until Aug. 8th to secure a mtg. The closing is currently scheduled for 8/25.
It's now time to get down to NC and look at a bunch of houses and make an offer on the one we want. Yes, I said we. Robert is is coming wiith me. We have cleared the air and things are better between us. I guess sometimes things just have to hit rock bottom and both people in a relationship ned to be strong enough and willing to fight for what they really want in life.
So, we are moving together. I'm sure there will be issues that will need to be worked through as we go along but we are in a much better place now then we have been.
So, along with looking for a place to live, it is also time to pack. I have a POD sitting in my driving that needs to be filled up with all the stuff that is going to be moving with us. It's going to be a very busy 1 1/2 months.
